Dining Plans Overview

In order to meet the varying eating habits and
needs of our diverse student body,
Gourmet Dining and Kean University have developed
a wide range of flexible meal plans to suit
your campus lifestyle. Choosing any one of the
plans from the many options we offer, in an allyou-
care-to-eat format, is a terrific value.
We want you to be happy and healthy while enjoying
a variety of delicious and nourishing food
during your time in college. The Residence Hall
Dining facility offers a wide variety of good, nutritious
foods from fresh salads and fruits to delicious
and wholesome pastries, grilled entrees,
pastas and more in a warm, courteous and clean
environment.

Continuous Dining
The Residence Dining Hall & Downs Hall offers
continuous dining with unlimited returns. Unlimited
dining allows students to enter the dining hall
as many times as they like during the hours of operation.
For students on the Block meal plans, a
meal is deducted when they enter the dining hall.
Once in the dining hall, help yourself to unlimited
returns! During the Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and
Dinner meal Periods choose from over 15 dining
stations including our signature “Brick Oven
Pizza”, “The Salad Bar” with NJ Fresh produce,
“Bread & Breakfast” and “Wok it Up” (to name a
few)... During the off periods, enjoy all these stations
with the exception of the Entree station.
To access your meal plan don’t leave home without
your Cougar ID card. Feel free to have as
many servings as you want as long as you stay in
the Residence Hall dining room.The Residence
Dining Hall is the only place you can use your
meal plan, for all your care to eat while your
Cougar dollars and Flex dollars can be used at any
of the food service locations. So, enjoy your favorite
meal or treat with just the swipe of your
card, anytime!
